Birgit Witherspoon, MS, HHC, discovered her talent for healing early in life. Growing up in Germany, she worked with a lot of horses whose owners were desperate because they did not have an explanation for the horses’ unusual behavior. Generally after a couple of months the animals returned to their gentle manners.

Inspired by her mom, who was very sick but couldn’t be helped much by traditional medicine, Birgit embarked on a journey into alternative health, earning her Master’s Degree in Domestic Science/Health in 1989.

In 2006, Birgit completed a Somatic Intuitive Training Practitioner Program and is certified to practice SIT, a powerful stress reduction method.

In 2007, Birgit graduated with honors from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and holds certifications as a Holistic Health Counselor from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and Teachers College of Columbia University. She is trained in all the dietary theories and qualified to advise people on improving their health through diet and lifestyle modifications including many programs for personal growth and self-development.

Early in 2010 Birgit, completed the Intermediate Level of Dr. Freddie Ulan’s Nutrition Response Testing™ in Clearwater, Florida.

Birgit understands how vital proper nutrition and stress management influence the health and well-being of individuals and recognizes that each person has different needs. She creates a unique plan for each client, based on up-to-date scientific data and practical skills to help them achieve peak performance physically, mentally and emotionally. The proof is in the results: in August 2008, she won a gold medal at the TaeKwonDo World Championships and passed her test for Black Belt with flying colors. After all, we are what we eat.

In 2011 Birgit published her cookbook What’s Left To Eat…!!! containing 63 mouth watering, sugar-free and grain-free recipes.
